Accessibility statement

Commitment

Baltic is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and applicable regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Standard and conformance status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, the technical standard referenced by EN 301 549. It is currently partially conformant: most remediation work has been deployed, and efforts continue on editorial content

What this website provides

The following measures are in place:

- A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, so the main content can be reached without going through the navigation.

- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element — including inside scrolling areas and underneath sticky headers.

- Named landmarks exposed to screen readers: header, main navigation, main content and footer.

- Button and control labels translated into all eight languages of the website.

- Focus management in menus, panels and modal dialogs: focus moved on opening, kept inside, dismissal with the Escape key and return to the triggering element.

- Collapsed content — accordions, submenus — and off-screen carousel slides removed from the keyboard path while they are not visible.

- A playback control on every piece of automatically moving content: information banner, scrolling banner, decorative videos and product galleries.

- Support for the “reduce motion” system setting: moving content then starts paused.

- Text contrast meeting level AA.

- Forms where every field carries an explicit label and where errors are announced to assistive technologies.

Known non-conformant content

Some images from our editorial content may lack a complete text alternative; fixes for these are planned. In addition, the checkout is provided by our e-commerce platform and is not under our direct technical control.

Evaluation method

The conformance status above is based on a self-assessment carried out by Baltic: code review, keyboard navigation testing, contrast verification and automated checks built into our development pipeline.

Enforcement procedure

If you report an accessibility barrier preventing you from accessing content or a feature and you do not receive a satisfactory response from us, you may refer the matter to the competent authority in your country.

Feedback and contact

If you experience any difficulty accessing content or features on this website, please contact us: we will do our best to respond quickly and provide an accessible alternative.
