100% of the funds raised by the auction will be donated to The Vortex Swim NGO @thevortexswim in order to organize other expedition and keep raising awareness about the micro-plastics pollution in our oceans.

THE AQUASCAPHE: THE RIGHT TOOLThe Aquascaphe was the perfect tool for Benoit to swim the 300 nautical miles of the expedition. A 200m waterproof diver watch, scratch resistant, and a unique dial using BWG9 luminova to improve the readability inside the Pacific.
Benoit wanted to get a reasonable sized watch, not too heavy to improve the comfort during the swim.
A TEAM COOPERATION. A UNIQUE WATCH.These watches were designed in limited numbers for the expedition team. The Vortex Swim expedition is above all a team cooperation between a crew of 15 different people including 9 who were on the boat during the expedition.
The watch in auction here is this very unique one worn by Benoit Lecomte during his 80 days swim through the pacific. It has a uniquely engraved case-back « For the planet I swam the pacific » This time-keeper will come with an authentic certificate.
More than a simple watch, it’s a witness of this great expedition and the feat of Benoit, swimming every day during 8h, for 3 long months.

During the 3 months of expedition, the CREW collected more than 45,000 fragments of micro-plastics for scientific purposes.
