Aquascaphe Bronze Black

I particularly love the vintage look of this Aquascaphe Bronze Black. The 39 mm case offers truly balanced proportions on the wrist, and the CuAl8 bronze is a real plus: it patinas nicely over time and gradually gives the watch a unique character. The value for money is excellent for an automatic diver of this level, featuring notably the sapphire crystal and the Miyota 9039 movement. The strap is also very comfortable for daily wear: supple, pleasant on the wrist and well suited to the spirit of the watch. Finally, a huge crush on the very nature of bronze: it is not a watch that stays frozen in its appearance. It evolves over time, and that is precisely what gives it so much charm. A vintage watch in spirit, modern in design, and above all with real personality.

The aquascaphe is an already excellent diver and to make it even more unique, the bronze casing! I chose the sapphire lumed bezel for a more subdued look - the watch is an art piece, slowly showing patina based on my activities (swim, desk dive, bike ride and life in general). It is well weighted and the brown dial is very playful in varying light. I highly recommend this for those that seeking something unique for their watch collection. I have a two watch collection, in my eyes - the collection is complete.

I have the watch for a few weeks now and I am loving it, it is very beautifull and the fact that is bronze make it more unique. Baltic nailed the vintage design, hinting to some watches that I love like the Fifty Fathoms but without being too derivative. The watch is a pleasure to wear (the weight of the bronze version surprised me a little, but it is not unpleasant, just "substacial", you feel there is something on your wrist), the movement is great (i love the smooth sweep of the seconds hand). Also, the people at the Paris showroom was great, very kind and attentive.

Wore the piece out of the store and barely have taken it off in 3 weeks. Really happy with it and it gets questions and compliments every couple of days. Tried the baking soda and lemon juice advice to brighten it back up after some browning patina and it did a great refreshed natural looking job in 2 mins. Looking for a quality 2 seam strap dark brown to level it up even more. Thanks Baltic

This was my first Baltic purchase and this bronze design grabbed my attention immediately. I've already received numerous positive comments on the look. I switched to a chocolate strap to coordinate the colours better, and it wears quite well. I've kept if fully wound and have +10. 2 sec/day, which is quite good. I look forward to my next purchase!
