Ari Vatanen, motorsport legend, World Rally Champion and four-time winner of the Rallye Dakar did us the honor of taking part in the making of this film and driving the BMW M1 Procar that will accompany the competitors on the Tour Auto 2024.
Baltic x Tour Auto 2024
A true monument to motor sport, the Tour Auto is the historic reincarnation of the Tour de France Automobile, created in 1899 by the Automobile Club de France. It was on this race that some of the finest pages in motor sport were written, seeing prestigious brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Jaguar, and legendary drivers like Maurice Trintignant, Stirling Moss, Phil Hill and Bernard Darniche battle it out on open roads.
Taking to France's most beautiful roads and stopping off at iconic racetracks, it's now the turn of over 250 competing crews to drive their cars across France, to the delight of themselves and their spectators.
For the second year running, Baltic will take on the role of Official Timekeeper and accompany the competitors from Paris to Biarritz. To celebrate this event, 500 Tricompax have been specially produced in the historic colors of the Tour Auto, each accompanied by a Rally Timer (stopwatch and dashclock).

A dial in the image of the Tour Auto
Inspired by the passion and adrenalin that drives every edition of the Tour Auto, the Tricompax embodies the fusion of tradition and modernity. The dial of this special edition is dressed in a matte light beige and contrasts with three black-ringed subdials featuring the historic colors of the Tour de France Automobile. Highlighted by a black railway track, it creates a captivating visual interplay with the tachymeter scale bezel, designed to measure speeds of up to 200 km/h. Every detail of this watch reflects the authenticity and dynamic spirit of the Tour Auto, capturing the essence of this legendary competition.

The Tricompax Baltic x Tour Auto 2024 is equipped with the SW510-M caliber, a mechanical hand-wound chronograph movement developed by the Swiss manufacturer Sellita. With over 60 hours of power reserve, this complication movement is known for its robustness and exemplary reliability.
A thin 13,5mm
profile
Featuring a double-domed sapphire crystal and a 316L steel case, the Tricompax offers an elegant 13,5mm thickness (11mm without glass) and 47mm lug to lug. The dimensions and materials offer a perfect presence on the wrist and ultra-resistance.
Two emblematic motorsport instruments
Each Tricompax Baltic x Tour Auto 2024 will be accompanied by a Rally Timer featuring two iconic motorsport instruments:
A stopwatch with a matte light grey dial, powered by a Hanhart hand-wound movement with flyback function. This chronograph, perfect for measuring lap times on the circuit or special stage times in rallying, offers a reset and simultaneous start of a new countdown.
A dash clock with a matte black dial for quick and easy time reading.
A limited and numbered edition of 500 pieces
To celebrate the Tour Auto 2024 and our role as Official Timekeeper, we have produced a limited edition of 500 numbered packs. This edition will never be reproduced.

In its custom-made case, the Tricompax is accompanied by:

• A navy-blue Alcantara® strap

I absolutely love this watch. The dial is off the charts and the case shape, when looked at from the side, is really, really fun and different. It was easy to set, to view, and to change straps. The dial being a different color than the sub-registers and the sub-registers being great colors is really, really fun. The watch also ...

Great daily watch.
This model is perfect for a daily. Goes well with casual clothes and with a suit. I’ve worn 7 days with no timing issues. The tan off white strap is a bit stiff but will improve with more use. Well done Baltic!
