A collaboration between enthusiasts

Key player in the curation, purchase and sale of exceptional watches, A Collected Man has been driven by and promoting fine watchmaking for over 8 years. It is this mutual passion that brought us together in 2022 over a drink in East London. This gave birth to a thoughtful collaboration mixing modernity and respect for the past.

Blue Roulette

After several months of discussions and design, the MR Blue Roulette was born in September 2022. This model finds its inspiration in the dress watches of the 50s and in particular in the Patek Philippe Calatrava reference 96. This three-hand model combines elements of classic watchmaking with a resolutely modern touch provided by a brushed finish on the bezel and lugs. The "Blue Roulette" was limited to 300 pieces, each numbered.

A dial with different levels and textures

The "roulette" dial, in a contemporary bright blue, is composed on different levels and textures. Brushed rings contrast with a lightly grained dial center, reminiscent of some of our designs. The off-white indexes are dressed in a serif font, the four is flat for visual clarity and the six is curved and open. All of this plays perfectly with the polished dauphine hands.

The MR Blue Roulette is powered by the Hangzhou Cal5000a micro-rotor movement, it allows the watch to offer a slim 9.9mm profile while guaranteeing a 42-hour power reserve.
