fantastic
The MR Moissanite was meant to be a one-off. As Jas - our designer - puts it, that watch is all about tension: high & low, refined and in-your-face, dressy and irreverent at the same time. The design inspiration is rooted in the classical elegance of the 1940s remixed with the opulent creativity of the 70s. Form took over function, design was bold and maximalist. This isn’t a luxury watch nor is it pretending to be. Jas hijacked the concept with his own narrative, putting together a watch which shouldn’t exist.
Backed by Andrea Casalegno and his community, the MR Moissanite came to life, no just as a proof of concept but as an actual production watch.
Part watch part jewelry, it is a statement of confidence and a symbol of taste. This final edition comes as a flamboyant tribute to the MR. The collection, in its current form, will bow out after four years of existence, seing an update in the future.

Unmissable, baguette-cut stones found their way to the bezel. These gems, carved out of moissanite, are the closest alternative to diamonds. Lab grown, moissanite is the next best thing when it comes to hardness and brilliance. They bring refinement without being ostentatious.
Two glossy black dial complement the gem-set bezel. In its Classic form, the glossy dial and polished numerals blend with the sparkling stones while adding depth. The brushed sector in the Roulette’s dial splits the shine, bringing contrast between the glossy base and shiny bezel.

The MR Moissanite is powered by an automatic movement with a micro-rotor. While preserving the same core, all bridges and the base plate were redone. They now feature a black frosted finish.
The transparent case back and the oscillating weight placed on the same level as the rest of the components allow the heart of the watch to be revealed in its entirety and offer a breathtaking view of the gears in action.

The moissanite bezel adorns a timeless 36mm case. Pure and elegant, it put the focus where it matters. Polished lugs elongates the shine to the whole face, whereas the 44mm brushed sides bring balance to the composition.

The MR Moissanite edition is limited and numbered to 100 pieces per model. It will never be reproduced.

Roberto S.Absolutely no complaints. The case is very well constructed, and the dial is beautiful, featuring various textures. The movement is the star of the watch; it’s an interesting micro-rotor design and is beautifully decorated. It is regulated to COSC standards. I trust that it will prove to be a reliable movement.

Laurens R.Simple, clean design with Breguet numerals, textured salmon dial and fantastic proportions. Feels like I am looking at a PP 570 w Breguet numerals but accessible to everyone at a 3 figure price. It’s just the definition of value for money. I consistently wear it over my more expensive watches and its a great travel watch that I dont need to worry about (except swimming). I also was very impressed by the help I got at the Paris shop and the customer service. The person who sold me the watch (Lukas) also was emailing me back when I asked some questions on the website. I assume this was systematised and not coincidence which implies an attention to detail that goes beyond just the watches. Just top notch. My only improvement suggestions, if any, would be to consider a more premium version MR with higher price with better water resistance and a swiss or japanese caliber movement for longevity. I Also think a vintage Longine style step case from 13zn models could be a good look for this watch. The current polished bezel is a perfect size though, not too thin or thick, but it does scratch and get finger marks easily. It may end up with a nice brushed look over many years though. Looking forward to new releases and the future of this brand!
