The HMS, for Hours – Minutes – Seconds, was one of the first two watches proposed by Baltic when the company was formed, back in 2017.
Inspired by watches of the 1940s, the HMS heralded the design language of the brand. Featuring a step-case design and a simple, clean dial with contrasting railroad track and four subtle hour markers, it allowed for a delightfully understated watch. The dome-shaped acrylic crystal was like icing on the cake: the final touch!
A key element in building the brand’s philosophy, the HMS was powered by a Miyota 821A automatic movement. The Japanese movement allowed for the watch to be elegantly dimensioned at only 38mm: a perfect mix of vintage aesthetics and modern reliability!
